Program Description

Event Details

Learn the ins and outs of angling with Michael, a Connecticut fishing guide! You'll discuss everything you need to know to get started in the sport, like where to find fish, which gear to buy, licensing, and much more. The seminar will include live demonstrations, a scientific discussion about the natural world, and even videos of fish in their natural habitat. If you're new to fishing, or looking to grow as an angler, join us at the library!

As a Connecticut fishing guide, Michael Santangelo is dedicated to helping people of all ages explore the natural world. With a background in science, and a natural curiosity for life underwater, he spends most of his time investigating anything fishy! When he isn't guiding, or talking shop with his students in the Westport school district, he works as a personal care assistant for individuals with disabilities.
