Please join us for the Career and Films of Clint Eastwood.  As both an actor and a director, Clint Eastwood’s long and storied career has brought us some of the most iconic characters and films in Hollywood history. He rose to international fame with his role as the "Man with No Name" in Sergio Leone's "Dollars Trilogy" of Spaghetti Westerns during the mid-1960s and as antihero cop Harry Callahan in the five Dirty Harry films throughout the 1970s and 1980s. An Academy Award nominee for Best Actor, he won Best Director and Best Picture for his Western Unforgiven (1992) and his sports drama Million Dollar Baby (2004), among many of his acclaimed directed films that we will examine in this lecture.

A Long Island based filmmaker, film historian, and lecturer, Greg Blank has over 20 years of experience as a producer, director, cinematographer, and editor. He is an award-winning producer for the show "Push Pause Long Island" on Verizon Fios1, and as a documentarian for the films "Undocumented" (2016), and "A World Within a World: The Bay Houses of Long Island" (2020). Greg has developed and produces over 60 lecture programs for public and private clients, including LIU Post Hutton House Lectures, Molloy College, The Huntington Cinema Arts Centre, and dozens of libraries and venues around the country.
