Photography and the U.S. Space Program

Please join us in the Brubeck Room for an eye-catching program on space exploration from the Planetarium Director at SHU's Discovery Science Center.  Learn about the history and future of space exploration with rocket launch photographer Elliot Severn. Elliot will share his photography work and experiences covering a variety of space missions since the end of the space shuttle program.  

Elliot Severn is the Planetarium Director at SHU's Discovery Science Center in Bridgeport and an adjunct professor of astronomy at Sacred Heart University.  He is also an amateur astronomer, astrophotographer, and photojournalist. Elliot is a Stratford native and an alumnus of Alfred University and Trumbull High School.]
