The Sandwich Generation Seminar Series: Senior Care

The Sandwich Generation Seminar Series presented by Oasis Senior Advisors of Fairfield - Westchester is comprised of six monthly programs designed to provide valuable information for those on a caregiving journey. As more and more caregivers face the squeeze of raising kids and taking care of a senior loved one at the same time, cries of help come from what is being called the 'Sandwich Generation.'

Please join us for the final session of this series "Demystifying Acute Care: Navigating a Hospital Stay." Any hospital stay brings a certain level of anxiety for all involved. Much of this derives from a fear of the unknown. Our panel will try to demystify a hospital stay to ease some of those fears. They will cover some general information about how a hospital works, who plays what role and how decisions are made., and discuss what to be prepared for, how to manage expectations and how to advocate for a senior loved one.

Open to adult children and seniors planning for their own care, this seminar series - part support group, part education series - is designed to put you in touch with local experts to help you prepare for, and endure your caregiving journey.
