Please join us at Wilton Library to hear ONS's orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Paul Tomaszewski, speak about the shoulder and when it might be time for a replacement. Shoulder pain can be devastating and impact your quality of life. The pain can be caused by several different factors such as injuries, an accident, or a medical condition such as arthritis. Come learn from Paul Tomaszewski, MD, orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, who will discuss both non-surgical and non-surgical treatment options for your pain.
Dr. Tomaszewski graduated from Boston College with a degree in biochemistry. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatments for activity and sports related injuries in the knee, shoulder and elbow. Dr. Tomaszewski attended Georgetown University School of Medicine and graduated cum laude with a medical degree as well as a master’s degree in physiology and biophysics. Dr. Tomaszewski completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, followed by additional fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Tomaszewski has sports team coverage experience at the high school, collegiate and professional levels, including the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Wizards, Towson University and Loyola University. On the academic front, Dr. Tomaszewski is a member of Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA). He also is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
