So many kids face challenges:

• 1 in 31 is autistic;
• 1 in 10 has ADHD;
• Up to 10% struggle with learning differences.

And it’s rarely just one thing. Many autistic kids also have ADHD and/or learning challenges, and many with ADHD also have ASD and/or learning challenges. In fact, AuADHD (autism and ADHD) is now widely recognized and being studied. Add in anxiety and depression from working so hard to keep up and fit in, and it can feel overwhelming to the child and the parents.  Join clinical psychologist Marcia Eckerd, PhD, as she makes sense of these complexities and shares how you can best support your unique child.

Marcia Eckerd has worked with neurodivergent individuals (autism spectrum, ADHD, NVLD, LD) since 1985, providing therapy, evaluation, and consultation. She serves on the CT ASD Advisory Council and the Board of Autism Today!, presents widely at conferences and webinars, and writes internationally read articles on autistic adults and women. She is co-authoring a book for Jessica Kingsley Press on neurodivergent students and schools with Robert Bernstein.
