Program Description

Event Details

Christopher Bishop introduced his new book, Improvising Careers: Succeed at Jobs that Don't Exist Yet, to Wilton Library in November 2025. We've invited him back to lead a workshop on how to use his Future Career Toolkit to provide hands-on techniques for navigating disruptions in the world of work and succeeding in the new paradigm.

The workshop provides actionable, real-world tools to help participants identify their own strengths and passions, guide them in tapping into channels where forward-looking conversations on these topics are happening, and teach them how to track down and connect with the people and organizations leading those conversations.

Bishop has distilled the process into three steps: finding your unique VOICE (personal brand); fine-tuning your ANTENNA; and MESH with the right people.

Perfect for high school and college students, parents, and workers looking to enhance or change careers. Learn to use the tools that helped Bishop successfully navigate eight different careers over his working life.

Space is limited to 30 seats to provide participants with a hands-on learning experience.

Registration is required. Register online, or call (203) 762-6334.
