Event Details
Please join the Wilton Youth Council for an evening to talk about the college process with Susan Bauerfeld, PhD, and Deena Maerowitz, JD, MSW. The college process can feel like a frenzy, but there are ways to manage it that foster resilience and relationships rather than discord and despair. Join us to learn tips, strategies and suggestions for reducing stress, staying connected to your child and managing the process with greater ease and comfort. You will feel better and your teen will thank you.
Susan Bauerfeld, PhD, is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who has been providing education and support to parents raising children in the Fairfield County area for over 13 years. In her private practice (from which she retired in 2024) she worked with adults and teens struggling with anxiety, trauma, learning challenges, and health issues (including TBI, chronic pain and chronic illness).
Deena Maerowitz, JD and MSW, provides college and graduate school advising for The Bertram Group.
This program is intended for parents/caregivers of children 9th-11th grade and is brought to you by Wilton Youth Council in partnership with the Wilton Library and the WHS PTSA.
Registration is suggested.
