Please join us on Zoom for an informative presentation from Yale Science Communication, a graduate student organization that aims to ignite scientific engagement across diverse communities and train effective science communicators in the broader Yale graduate and postdoctoral community..
A famous song once said, "Where did you come from? Where did you go?" Shashank and Kriza will address this question and discuss what makes up the world around us, from the cosmic to the microscopic. Spoiler alert: everything you see is recycled. You may even leave ready to start your own recycling system in the form of a worm bin!
Shashank Dattathri is a 4th year PhD student in Yale's astronomy department. His research focuses on how galaxies form and evolve over time, and the invisible dark matter that surrounds galaxies. Outside of the lab, he likes rock climbing, dancing, and playing basketball!
Kriza Sy is an MD/PhD student in the Cell Biology department. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, two cats, and her bucket of compost worms.
Registration required in order to receive the Zoom link.
