Please join us for the Yale Spizzwinks(?) concert at Wilton Library. The Spizzwinks(?) are composed entirely of full time undergraduate students, performing concerts all over the world. Since our founding in 1914, the Spizzwinks(?) have released several dozen albums and performed around the globe, bringing our diverse repertoire of over 600 arrangements everywhere from local New Haven elementary schools, to concert halls, special events, businesses, and universities on international tours.
Their 600+ song repertoire is entirely made up of in-house arrangements, made by current or past Spizzwinks(?), and spans a wide variety of genres—from jazz standards to contemporary pop and classic hits. They perform as a lower voice, or TTBB (tenor, tenor, baritone, bass) group. Of course, no Spizzwinks(?) performance would be complete without a generous dose of their unique brand of humor. Since their founding, their original skits, choreography, and unmitigated bashing of Yale’s athletic rivals have left audiences rolling with laughter at every performance!
The Yale Spizzwinks(?) will be selling merchandise and CD's following the concert. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Wilton Library.
Registration strongly suggested.
