Program Description

Event Details

Wilton Library, in partnership with RVNAhealth, an independent nonprofit healthcare agency that has served Western Connecticut since 1914, invites those living with memory challenges and their care partners to a welcoming, relaxed and supportive monthly gathering inspired by the original Alzheimer's Café in Holland. This Memory Café offers an informal and comfortable space to socialize, connect with others who share your journey, and enjoy meaningful moments together.

Each month will feature conversation, community and uplifting activities, including music, storytelling, therapy pet visits, crafts, sweet treats, refreshments and more. June's special program will be alive with music and the sounds of voices singing along. Come prepared to ask our talented musician, John Coperine, to play your favorite songs. Get ready for smiles, laughter and lots of fun! We can't wait to welcome you to our Memory Café!

RVNAhealth dementia specialists and library staff will be available to offer support and ensure that everyone feels welcome and at ease. To be admitted to the program, each Memory Café participant must be accompanied by their care partner for the entire hour.

Registration required. Register by calling Caryn at (203) 762-6320 or at cfquinn@wiltonlibrary.org. Please include both partner's names and a telephone number or email at which you can be contacted.
