Children ages 4 and up and their families are invited to this presentation by Norwalk Symphony Orchestra's percussion musicians. Have you heard of the Djembe, the Guiro, or the Claves? Learn all about these and more as our musicians take you on an exploration of percussion instruments from around the world. Learn how jazz rhythms differ from traditional orchestral music, or ballet, hip hop, and more. Everyone will have an opportunity to play some percussion instruments themselves and add their own energy and unique rhythms!
