Program Description

Event Details

The Sandwich Generation Seminar Series presented by Oasis Senior Advisors of Fairfield - Westchester is comprised of five monthly programs designed to provide valuable information for those on a caregiving journey. As more and more caregivers face the squeeze of raising kids and taking care of a senior loved one at the same time, cries of help come from what is being called the 'Sandwich Generation.'

Please join us for the second session "Local Lifelines: Finding and Utilizing Community Resources." There are many resources available at the town and state levels to help us as we care for a senior, but sometimes they can be hard to find. Our Local Lifelines panel will discuss what's available, how to access those resources and how to make the most of these offerings. Panelists for this session will be Katie Regan SW CT Agency on Aging, Lauren Hughes Town of Wilton Coordinator of Senior Services, LCSW and Lisa Roman VP Stay at Home in Wilton.

Open to adult children and seniors planning for their own care, this seminar series - part support group, part education series - is designed to put you in touch with local experts to help you prepare for, and endure your caregiving journey.
