Senior Center Book Discussion: Atmosphere: A Love Story

Please join us as Caroline Mandler leads a discussion of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s Atmosphere: A Love Story. Reid’s #1 New York Times bestseller gives us an epic novel about the challenges and opportunities as well as the triumphs and tragedies involving the first female scientists accepted into NASA’a space shuttle program in the 1980s. Bracketed by a major astronautical disaster, the novel flashes back to the intertwined backstories of its characters: their skills, training, and experiences leading up to the event as well as their personal lives and loves.
