Please join us as Michael Bellacosa leads a discussion of Salman Khan's Brave New Words. Sal Khan has been at the leading edge of the development of educational technology beginning about 15 years ago with his founding of Khan Academy. With over 8 million subscribers, Khan Academy’s instructional videos have been viewed over 2 billion times by students of all ages. An optimistic visionary, Khan stresses that the incorporation of AI into education isn’t about replacing human beings but is instead about creating customized learning tools for students at all levels and learning styles. Bill Gates, one of Sal Khan’s biggest supporters, said: “Salman Khan has long been on the cutting edge of education, and in Brave New Words, he shows us what’s next. The book is a timely masterclass for anyone interested in the future of learning in the AI era. No one has thought more about these issues—or has more interesting things to say about them—than Sal.”

This group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month from September through May, excluding December. Call the Senior Center for details and to register at 203-834-6240. Comstock Community Center, 180 School Road, Wilton.
