Suzanne Rose, PhD, will explain the results of the first systematic and meta-analysis research on weight gain after patients stop taking GLP-1 weight loss drugs like Ozempic. Her results are important information for those taking or considering using GLP-1 drugs.  Dr. Rose will be joined by Dr. Caroline Andrew, who will provide information about the safety of GLP-1 drugs and answer questions about starting and stopping treatment.  Please join us for this engaging discussion. 

Suzanne Rose, MS, PhD, CCRC, FACRP, is Executive Director of Research at Stamford Hospital.   She oversees pharmaceutical and device-funded research as well as faculty, nursing and resident research, simulation and grant management.  Dr. Caroline Andrew is a primary care physician who is board-certified in internal medicine, obesity medicine, and lifestyle medicine. After completing her undergraduate and medical education at Brown University, she went on to train in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. She then served as a chief resident at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and completed a fellowship in obesity medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. Prior to joining Stamford Health, Dr. Andrew was the medical director of weight management at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and Connecticut.
