Professional book discussion leader Susan Boyar discusses Persuasion by Jane Austen this month.  Persuasion is the story of a baronet's daughter, Anne Elliot, and a young naval officer, Frederick Wentworth. The last of Austen's novels, it is considered to be her most thoughtful, philosophical work.  2025 marks Jane's 250th birthday, so join us for a birthday tea party in her honor!  We'll provide the tea and cake.  If you'd like, please bring a tea party snack (veggies, tea sandwiches, fruit, canapés, etc.) to share with the group.

Wilton Library Readers meets the second Wednesday of each month through June. For a listing of meetings and titles, visit our Wilton Library Readers page. Advance registration suggested.
