Professional book discussion leader Susan Boyar discusses James by Percival Everett this month. James is a retelling of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain, but told this time from the perspective of the enslaved man Jim. While not required, familiarity with The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn will enhance your enjoyment of the discussion.
