As a follow-up to our recent Women in Business Panel Discussion and Networking event, please join us on Tuesday, April 29, at 7:00 p.m. to learn about the resources the Women’s Business Development Council offers to small businesses – most of which are offered at no cost. Join WBDC's Erin Mercede to find out how to get started. WBDC has something for individuals at all stages of business – entrepreneurial and financial education services, grants, promotional and community-building opportunities, and much more! Whether you're thinking about starting a business, are looking to expand your business skills, or are ready to scale, WBDC can help drive your success in a tangible and accessible way.
Erin Mercede serves as the Program Manager of the West Region for the Women’s Business Development Council, where she helps develop the curriculum, facilitates classes, and engages in community events to bring visibility to the important work of the WBDC. She was previously the Director of Leadership Programs at the Bridgeport Regional Business Council and held various analytical and customer service roles at Santa Energy in Bridgeport and Ellington Management Group in Old Greenwich. She has an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a BS in Finance from the University of New Hampshire.
