Rising 4th-7th graders can step right into a life size board game! Who will be the first to find their way though Candy Cane Forest, across Gumdrop Mountain, and all the way to King Kandy's Castle?

The Red Cross Babysitting Course prepares teens to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential, real-life readiness babysitting skills.

Kids entering grades K and up and their families are invited to join us to assemble and decorate bird feeders from recycled milk cartons and a variety of other materials.  Finished products can be hung outside to draw local birds.  

Come and enjoy a summer Sci-Fi movie, Super 8: "In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident.

Kids entering kindergarten and up will learn some new moves from DJ Austin Dailey! Participants will learn basic hip hop freestyle skills, silly party moves, break dancing, and party line dances.

Calling all storytellers and story-listeners! Join us for an informal evening celebrating the oral storytelling tradition. Bring a prepared story to tell or just come to listen. All are welcome, experienced storytellers and newbies alike.

Kids entering grade 2 and up can discover the magic of mandalas in this creative art program. Participants will explore patterns, symmetry, and color while learning about mindfulness and self expression through art.

For kids entering grades 3-6 only. Are you ready, Master Builders? Compete in lightning speed rounds to crown the best of the best. Bring your imagination and be ready for anything! 

Creative 4th-7th graders can express themselves with Perler beads! Put a pattern on a pegboard then melt with an iron. Make a coaster, a keychain, or whatever your imagination conjures!

It's a battle of the sweetest! 

Two plain cupcakes. Two different challenges. Your job is to use frosting, toppings, and your creativity to impress our judges. Win or lose, it's cupcakes for everyone!

Join us for an afternoon of tasty competition. In this program, we will break up into teams and try to create the best smoothie. Ingredients will be provided by the library.

Kids entering kindergarten and up and their families can enjoy an energetic fusion of Australian music, culture, comedy, character building, storytelling and audience participation.

Teens and Tweens entering grades 6-12 in the fall can learn a bit about the ancient art of henna and then get a henna design of their own.  It is educational and beautiful!  

Kids entering grades 3 - 6 are invited to join us for a cartoon drawing class with Emma Keating.  She will show us how to draw some amazing animals, creatures, and characters. All you need is your imagination! 

Rising 4th-7th graders, dare you try to find a way through our maze of lethal laser beams?

Kids entering kindergarten and up and their families are invited to join Judi Jones, the Queen of Hoops, for interactive hoop dancing fun. Custom hula hoops will be provided for all. Get ready for a hoopin' good time!

Rising 4th-7th graders can bid farewell to summer with a beach day at the library! How many ways can you have fun with a beach ball? Dodge them, dunk them, keep 'em up & plunk them. You can even help choose the tunes!

No sew we go! Rising 4th-7th graders can transform tatty T-shirts into top-of-the-line totes. No needlework necessary! Please bring your own T-shirt(s).
