iller spent a year as an Advanced Leadership Fellow at Harvard. The outcom
e of his fellowship year was GoodEnding, a nonprofit seeking to improve en
d of life outcomes and reduce societal costs. As an extension of his GoodE
nding work, Doug will discuss Writing Your Own Ending. With co-author Sony
a Dolan, Doug has created what noted hospice and palliative care physician
B.J. Miller describes as “…a workbook for everyone, loaded with pract
ical tips and stepwise guidance to help you prepare for the end.”Doug
’s presentation will focus on four topics:Contemplating and preparing fo
r your eventual demiseConsidering and shaping how you will be remembered a
nd celebratedMaking things easier for survivorsLeaving with no regretsYou

ok at what a powerful resource it is. The publisher, Levenger, describes i
ts Master Class series with the tagline: “Ink helps us think.” Once
you see the book, you’ll understand how its framework inspires you to sl
ow down, put pen to paper, and turn scattered ideas into clear, deliberate
thinking. The book is available for purchase exclusively through Levenger

ng donated to Regional Hospice, a nonprofit hospice in Danbury, where he v
